I asked this question previously on Clio197.net when I had my Clio and was about to change all the ball joints but couldn't really get a proper answer relating to what exactly is uprated when compared to oem ? Is it the material spec of the ball joint, the ball joint Cup etc etc. I am about to replace all the ball joints on my mk3 Megane RS so interested to know the answer and would also appreciate a PM with a quote for a full set of 6 ball joints plus a pair of anti rotation links and drop links posted to Glasgow.
The material, the grease in them and the way they are sealed. I can offer only Meyle HD (heavy duty) drop links, anti rotation are the same as stock (and you might get them cheaper in the UK). The price for 6 ball joints and 2 Meyle HD drop links including tracked shipping to the UK is 420GBP. I've got one lower joint gone. Would people advise replacing just the one or worth doing all of them. Only use the car on the road. Thanks
Depending on how long you intend of owning the car and how much mileage you do. I would advise replacing both lower ball joints definitely, and upper ones if you want the job done right (to have all new ball joints on the hub). Eventually, you can replace the ones on the wishbone but these don't fail as often as do the lower ones on the hub. Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk

Haha...TBH, I was shocked with the results of the referendum too. [emoji41] In most countries you won't have to pay custom taxes, however this depends on the customs officer looking at the package. Sold them all over the world now (Russia, S.Africa, Australia, Israel, all of the EU countries, haven't sold them in the USA yet [emoji1787]).
