Thats what i said, according to renault diagrams its a pipe of some sort... Theres no room to fit anything in that area.
It sits directly behind the metal coolant pipe... all my sensors and bolts fit in, but I am lost what goes in there.
Knock sensor fits in the one to the right, There's a plug with a single wire that goes there but not sure what it is!!
On dialogys it's a metal sleeve and cap, two separate parts? God knows what it is?! - I haven't got it in my box of removed parts. Do you have a picture from dialogys you can see?
Damn, same drawing I had.. it's generic and not a 225 engine block. Had a chat with him today, we both aren't 100% sure.
Sorry ignore that. Just looked on my block in my car and under the coolant pipe the hole has nothing in
Mystery solved. Its a metal insert and core plug / cap that goes in the hole that runs into the oil gallery.
