Removing a dump valve

  1. What parts do I need to replace a Forge dump valve?
Any part numbers would be handy.
Am I correct in saying a recirc valve is quieter?
What do I need if removing dump valve and replacing with a recirc?

    MK3 250.

  2. I did this on a Mk2 so not directly relevant to you. The recirc valve is much quieter. On the Mk 2 it was just a case of replacing the DV with a pipe and putting the recirc valve back where it should be on the turbo (probably there is a blanking plate there now).

  3. Where did you get the pipe to replace the one with the DV in it, mine is ridiculous just blows off from any boost pressure, the second the engines running it actuates the spring. And ive replaced it with 4 different springs up to a 35psi one so somethings wrong with it....

  4. I ordered it from TwoTechs, it was surprisingly pricey I seem to recall.

  5. Here's the relevant bit of the invoice:

0.50 S/F Air pipe from intercooler to inlet manifold. 30.00
    1.00 Air intake pipe 82 00 283 043 111.53
