Have deleted the rear-seats (again) and every shake and shudder makes me wonder if I need one. It’s mainly a road car with half a dozen track days a year. It’s putting out 296 bhp/300 odd ftlb so is naturally twitchy anyway but would a brace help at all? Cheers
There was one in my Meglio when I bought it. I ran for a year, track days,tesco, then removed/sold it.There is a bit more room now, and as Jamie has said, no difference at all to the handling as far as I could tell.
Have you seen where the dampers actually mount to? If you genuinely want to stiffen the chassis then do it right and stick a cage in it that ties into the shell
I have next to no idea about it which is why I want a consensus opinion and it seems to be they do fuck all. :-) I do like the Clubsport look though but if a strutbrace is pointless weight then I won’t bother.
