Scissor Jacks are awful, but I guess you won't won't anything bigger

 

Best to get from a scraper as you can then get the tray it goes in and the other components. Without the tray it's a pig to keep it from rattling around.

Why does the Megane even come with a jack when it doesn't come with a spare?

 

My RS came with a lightwight spare and consequently had the jack and other bits (I now carry full size spares). If the car came without a spare then it should have a puncture repair kit and inflater, but no jack. However, I would expect it to have the towing eye regardless, but it would be kept I don't know, we've had a std coupe without a spare and Renault upgraded to full spare fr me (I've had 5 coupes (1 CC) but only one RS which is a June 16 car - nearly the last).

It wont, unless someone has added it themselves, Renault only supply Tyre weld

 

Mine didn't come with a spare because it wouldn't fit over the front brakes apparently, a 19" also doesn't fit in the spare space. It had a jack and tyre weld though.

 

A 19” does fit in the spare well

 

If you had the space saver and had a flat front, you would just have the ball ache of removing your rear wheel 1st and putting it on the front, and the space saver on the rear
