Brembo caliper refurb

  1. Need to get my R26 Brembo calipers refurbished - any recommendations?

They need some new seals (I'd do this myself) but they also need fresh powder coating so will need to send off. I want the Brembo logo put back as per original - ie painted and not a transfer

Will also get the rears redone as well

Not the cheapest but known people on forums use them for years and the quality is superb

  3. Thanks, will have a look, it will give a good price to work from (I've no idea how much ££ at the moment!)

    Have you used them?

  4. Not personally no but a few friends who've been doing 4 pot upgrades on cars with 2nd hand calipers have. They come back like new. Always been impressed with them

  5. Did a full refurb on mine myself and got them painted locally. Cost me about £115 all in. Sent off for a price at BCS Automotive and they wanted £380 to carry out the refurb. You can buy a new set for about £340 from RPD! You will probably find it’s cheaper to buy a brand new set from RPD and sell yours if you don’t want to take the whole job on yourself

  6. Hasn't even thought about buying new, good point

Where did you get the seals from - Renault or Brembo parts?

  7. That's a good price! I paid a lot more last time I got some seals

  8. By the way, does anybody know, where one could source new linking/crossover pipes (installed at the bottom of caliper) for the OEM Brembo calipers???
