Im going to attempt to change my Gearbox oil over the Xmas break. What is needed to undo the drain plug? Alan key, socket, square drive or something else? Any info will be much appreciated, cheers.
Cheers for the info, would you be able to advise me on how much oil to buy/how much can you usually get out of the gearbox?
I think it takes 2.1 ltrs and you will get almost all of it out, filler plug is also the level, but leave for a couple of minutes and top again.
I’ve been told that best way to refill the gearbox is from the passenger side wheel arch, is this correct?
