Bought a pipercross foam filter from rst and shagged the connections on my number plate lights full of rust
I took mine to a custom exhaust centre. £90 including 3 new exhaust mounts as my OEM ones where done. Would have been £60 for the chop on its own
With the unusual nice weather yesturday I gave the car a thorough clean inside and out, topped up the oil, changed the screenwash fluid (it started to smell like egg?) and then fitted a pair of black diamonds I picked up off Ebay. Productive day, car wise!
Took my r26 to the garage for new brakes on rear and to have a look at a missfire it has developed (bad injectors) 4pm came got a phone call of garage computer has found the missfire and several other codes came up not getting my baby back till Wednesday
MOT, Two new hub bearings, sump gasket, engine mount and decat! Top work from Mark Black. Car is feeling much more responsive now! The Mans a wizzard!
Had the short shift mod fitted Miles better Bought some hd6000 headlight ready to fit soon with some cooksport lowering springs
2 front tyres. Continental ContactSport 5s. Feel so much nicer than the Eagle F1s that were on there. Horrible tyre they were.
Been around looking for washer jets, picked up exhaust mounts and cleaned up my intercooler ready to be fitted soon. Oh and booked remap for 13/02/14
I've given up looking for some of them Kangoo washer jets. All the ones that are being broken on eBay, don't have them. Ordered some standard megane ones instead.
I'll keep my eyes peeled for some, visited Ads earlier and they turn out to be £43 EACH or something! as opposed to £9 each last year.
Went to the post office to do mine. You don't even need to take any documents now. It's all on their computers.
Why's it weird? The standard lights on the Meganes are pants. Hids weight less than 1kg. I'll just do a big shite before i go on track. Will that suffice?
Airbox mod pipercross foam filter new engine earth and new number plate lights not bad for a mornings work
How big did you do the hole? Itg filter and a good sized hole along with samco hoses and mine sounded really good.
Today I've fitted my intercooler, replaced both the rear exhaust mounts, one had completely snapped and the other was on the 'emergency' backup strap. Also gave it a quick wash.
