Knocks from front axle after lowering

Discussion in 'Suspension, Brakes, Wheels & Tyres section' started by Moshe, Nov 20, 2018.

  1. Hey all,

I get a light knock from the front axle when going on bumps.

I have just installed a set of ast 5100 coilovers.

The car is lowered to 330mm on the front and 340 on the rear (center of the cap to the arch).

I'm running original drop links and driveshaft spacer.

Any ideas what could cause that?

    Thanks!

    Top mounts not torqued properly

  3. They were all just replaced, I will check them all. We were not able to move the engine when it's stationary.

I also get a know when reversing, you think it's also from the top mounts?

Don't know, could be loose topmount nuts or the main shock one not being torqued.

Anti rotation links are also a culprit for knocks
