I gave him the decoder resistor things to wire in and they're spot on now. They look way better than the halogen lights too, need to test them in the dark tonight.

Somebodies got too much money

 

Sorted out what I originally though was a really annoying passenger side dash rattle! Ended up being a split wheel arch liner knocking on the firewall.

 

Mines had a new cambelt + all the bits and pieces, thermostat and an oil service. Oh and some nice new plain plates from Halfords. Its been an expensive weekend.

 

Gearbox swap as mine is with Geartech in Kidderminster, 3rd synchro decided to give up entirely.
what a pain job to do when you need to disassembled half the car just for thew gearbox that was already changed and refurbed in February this year

 

last 2 weeks or so, fitted KTR induction Kit,Turbo Back,Airtec Intercooler, new plugs and oil and filter change. Will be getting mapped at EFI shortly.
That will mean I've used RS tuning,CGR and then EFi all on megane remaps be interesting to compare.

bit giving the interior a bit of a deep clean. cleaned the recaros then went over them with gyeon leather coat and same with the rears

hopefully the rain stays off in the morning so I can refit the front seats

You’ve got to be careful with covers because they can cause paint damage. Swirl city if you’re not careful.

I don’t use a cover on my daily because I think it would cause more damage than it would prevent, but I do have one on my garage queen.

First attempt at wrapping....bit better than just silver finish.

 

Got a set of AD08r tyres fitted to replace a worn set of PS4. They look so good. I've only had a very short journey out in them, so I haven't pushed them hard yet but so far the comfort and noise levels seem almost identical if a bit better than the PS4s which was unexpected. I can't wait to try them out properly!

 

are these daily tyres or track ?

 

I'm using them for both, but yeah the timing coming into winter wasn't great, lol.

 

See that Clio around Yeovil a lot. Really nice! Love the colour on it.
