Standard Cup Head Unit

  1. Hi Guys, quick question. My 2010 250 Cup has a swapped interior from a Lux Car, complete with the Aux/USB connectors under the Diagnostic Port. These two sockets don't work at all, but are plugged in at the rear. Can I assume that the standard Cup had Red and White jack connectors where I now have the 3.5mm and USB connectors, and in order to get these two sockets to actually do anything Id have to swap out the standard head unit with the Arkamys one? I'm not too fussed about putting in an aftermarket set up, it would just be nice to play stuff from my iPod! Cheers

  2. Yeah that should work, if you already have the USB panel

  3. Now to hunt for an upgrade head unit with its code

  4. There are a few mobile phone apps that give you codes

  5. Cool ill have a look, thanks. Next question, anyone know the part number for the Lux 250 stereo!? Id assume its the same that stuck in any of the Megane based cars like the Scenic etc?

  6. Hmm not so sure its that straight forward! Just been looking at the repair manuals for Megs and it talks about an "offset multi media socket computer" behind the glove box ! No doubt even a radio replacement would need Clip to tell the computer to look for a USB rather than the old two connector socket ! Meh
