It’s the clutch damper, they all seem to leak, around £80 from Renault I think. It will be an hour or two labour as apparently they’re a pain to bleed.

That will explain why I was getting the brake warning message, it went away when I topped it up though, i read it was called a resonator what is it for exactly Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
Not sure what it’s for, I think it makes the clutch feel a bit smoother but I’m probably talking shite haha

Had this leak/weep on mine recently. Noticed the brake fluid ever so slightly going down when doing my weekly checks. It's called a 'Clutch Pipe Resonator' and cost around £80 delivered. I bought mine from Ktec as they were the cheapest and fastest at the time to get one to me. To replace it went something like this: Battery and Airbox out, Remove 'Clutch Pipe Resonator' then stick your new one on. Then you have to pressure bleed the clutch and replace the brake fluid lost etc in the process. My best mate helped me do mine he is a mechanic as we had to pressure bleed the clutch and I have not done one before. We just ran normal dot4 brake fluid through as we have gallons of the stuff at wirk untill the clutch was all working ok and felt rilper. I had some Motul rbf600 ready for a brake fluid flush I wanted to do so replaced eventually with that. Max 2 hour job if taking it somewhere. Took us an hour and that was with a few coffees and the usual chin wagging. Hope that's of some assistance mate and all the best getting it sorted! Genty.
Had this very issue couple weeks ago, yes you get pipe and damper, however you can just change the damper it’s detachable be sure the small rubber seal comes out when pull damper away and goes into you existing pipe. easier than trying change entire pipe, will need to bleed after, that’s an art in itself bleeding these clutches
Sorted replaced the whole thing, hose and all, gearshifts feel 100 times better and the car feels up in power, the leak was doing it no favours Sent from my CLT-L09 using Tapatalk
