   So stating the car with the boot open, not the usual issue, I now can start it. I'm not complaining at all and won't bother trying to fix it but anyone any idea why? The image on the screen shows the boot is open so the car knows it is, but it still starts.

   Should imagine it's the sensor that tells the car the boot is open..?

   Didnt know it shouldnt start with the boot, pretty sure mine always has. Why shouldnt it?

   Hmm, in the past mines always said boot open and refuses to start until it's closed

   Tested it out when i got home, car starts fine with boot open
