How much oil does your 225 use?

  1. As per title. How much is yours using - how many miles on the engine and how do you drive it.
Renault official figures for acceptable levels of consumption I'm sure are....out there

At what kind of consumption level would you get worried? Assuming normal road use some "fast road" stuff, no track use. Thanks for all your replies guys!

  2. My R26 doesn’t seem to use a single drop.

Granted I only do very limited, light, mileage - 3k this last year and don’t give it that much stick.

I had an R53 Mini Cooper s and that used to drink oil!

  3. same with me..in 10 years not a drop between services..but again..with similar mileage!

  4. My R26 has done 70k ish miles now I think and I do 12k miles a year.

It doesn't use any oil at all between services to be honest!

My old clio 197 had 100k on the clock and used about 1 litre between services but that was higher revving and it was up in the revs a lot more often as that's where the power was.

The megane I have no need to red line it unless i'm ragging it.
