I spoke to them about it, probably not worth it to be honest. A sports cat is £405 from them -5% with 5 people or -15% with 10 people. They're £350 off eBay.

The welds look like pigeon shit on tye cobra, a lad on facebook bought one of there decats it was atrocious.

Cobra quality is wank [emoji23] RST or CGR for quality stuff. The rest is junk using cheap pot metal.
The amount of time and effort to fit one, something I would only want to do once, I would fit quality every time. Saving £55 or whatever on a £400 part is a false economy if you ask me. Buy cheap, buy twice.
I just have never heard anything bad about Cobra until now but we'll see how many people are interested in a group buy!
Why not get a universal one welded in under the car? I need one for my R26 and my plan is to get one welded in on v-band clamps. I'll also get v-bands put on the section of pipe that'll be cut out so that it's interchangeable. Should work out at sub £300 using a good quality euro 4 spec sports cat and stainless clamps and mean that I can run either with the sports cat in place or with a decat pipe and be able to swap between them on my drive in 10 minutes. Would need to get the pipes exactly right though and I have never welded, if that was possible for me it seems like the best option.
I'll not be welding it myself. I'll buy the cat and some v-bands and take it to local exhaust place and get them to cut and weld it all up. Iirc the cat I linked is £180 delivered.
I want a sports cat too - add me to the list. Was going to get a Cobra one as I'm not tracking the car so shouldn't be put through hell, but why not go for the quality one if we can get the price down
So far above there are 4 people, however only one person has commited to buy on, if we can get everyone together and get one more then I can knock a little bit of money off everyone's order, if we get to 5 then I can stick it on our FB page and push for 10 to save everyone some more money as at the minute we have 5 just off this forum and we have a couple of other forums too, will put a post together now as I'm sure we can get to 10 easily enough Cheers guys
The only issue I can think of is the connection of the Lambda sensor will there be enough cable length.
