  2. Will be a little louder, few more pops, no massive bhp gain, but every little helps

  3. i like pops  what we talking ? 10 bhp ? better than a slap in the face wi a wet fish

  4. The standard cat’s are really restrictive and they sound a lot better with a sports cat, you’ll also gain a fair bit more torque.

  9. Ive literally just done this. Added a sports cat to the Akrapovic and also fitted a Wagner intercooler.

It’s quite a bit louder in the cabin and pops loads more especially when it’s in sports mode. I brought all my bits from KTEC and got them to adjust the map at the same time. They are on my doorstep so eay for me.

Gain a bit more torque and holds it better now.

  12. What is it with Ktec's mapping and jaggy power and torque curves? Mine were terrible, yet Chris at EFI Parts map is alot smoother in comparison

  13. Seems like I’m gonna have to travel for a decent realiable map. Now toss up between RS Tuning or EFI. Who wobble be the better choice?

  14. I hear RS tuning the best in the country mate.

  15. Rs tuning by a mile mate. Heard a couple of ropey things about efi

This is my dyno graph from rs tuning, sports cat and intercooler fitted.

  17. Efi seems to be the go to place now he’s doing the mk3 and he’s cheaper but it’s up to you.

  18. Those quantum ones are just generic, get a proper custom map.

There's only one choice, contact Chris @ EFI, no comparison in customer service and ability to map your car right.
I travelled 280 miles each way, well worth the time and effort.

  24. They are both some distance away from me down in Bournemouth. I just wanted to take it to someone who’s going to spend the time doing a decent map. I’m a bit clueless with this whole mapping side of things just want a top quality job that will be reliable and be best for the car.

  25. To be honest you'd get a good map from either RS Tuning or EFI Parts. I personally found the customer service from Chris at EFI Parts to be excellent in comparison to RS Tuning, plus he's available to map on a weekend (RS are Monday-Friday) and he's cheaper. Engine Dynamics should be closer for you and are also reported to be very good at mapping

  27. Engine Dynamics for me as miles closer than anyone else. No complaints here.

  28. Well hope it goes ok for u.

  29. Never used efi personally so cant comment on customer service etc, but every time ive been to rs they've been nothing but accommodating and had a good banter with the lads

How about you back up your statements with some info then instead of slandering a company on the forums?

  31. All in good time. And listen i wasn't slagging efi off just saying that i had heard a few ropey things, but if u want to be a bitch about it crack on.

How about you back up your rubbish posts then?

Chris is probably one of the, If not the best tuners for RS stuff in the UK. Funny how there are several posts and stories about poor service from RST and cars not making what they should yet nothing about EFI?

Still waiting for you to let us all know what ropey things you've heard?

Don't need to let me know, Ive seen first hand on a few cars from RST that don't make what they should. Guess thats what you expect when your in and out in an hour or so.

I have had experience of both, EFI win every time.
the time you are there its your time, he doesn't go off and answer the phone, or speak to people that walk in through the door, or walk off for over 2 hours without a word.
