Badge Removal and or swap

  1. I have seen so many people ask about removing badges etc and everyone has some other way to do this, I have done it numerous times now and only ever used dental floss and tar remover. I have added some pictures of my last change, silver to black, this process took 20 minutes in total.
    Badge1:- the start
Badge2:- Tape location and Dental floss, one long piece folded into three
Badge3:- slide under one side and gently pull back and forth like a saw
Badge4:- tar remover, spray and wipe off any left overs
Badge5:- nice and clean. job finished.....or

  2. I make these badges and I always get asked this question. So big thanks too kirk for adding this tutorial.

  3. Masking tape is a bit overkill, but good guide

  4. I literally pushed mine off with plastic scraper and cleaned with WD40 and cloth, took seconds

  5. I would say it's essential to ensure the replacement badge goes in the correct place.
