Hi picked up my new car last Wednesday 275 cup-s with ohlins suspension and akroprovic exhaust only 5k on the clock. Thinking of adding a sports cat/ induction kit, anyone done this ? Interested to hear if its much of an increase on sound ( want more pops/bangs) will also b getting it mapped . Should b seeing around 300 bhp?
Have you heard decat as opposed to the sports cat? I'm going to go for a sports cat on mine at some point but was interested by the sound of a decat as it is much cheaper. I only want a nice sound increase and not bothered about bhp as it's quick enough for day to day use for me.
The only decat I’ve heard had no boxes and was a lot louder than mine. The sports cat does make it a bit louder and you’ll have no mot trouble, if you know a friendly mot tester go for the decat.
Definitely will have a look round for one. My mate knows one and I’m gonna ask the one down the road from me lol. Didn’t know whether to get the cobra sports cat/decat first or to get the catback with the smaller backbox. I already have the mid box chop so no idea what’ll be best
