Help needed front side lights and daytime lights not working

Side lights on the front of the 265 arent suppose to work, as they were replaced by the drl. As for the drl i dont know.

 

On the 250s and maybe the 265 trophy yeh you could switch them off because they werent a requirement at the time, but after the trophy, they became the requirement to be constatly on hence the longer drl on the 265s after the trophy. Ive never seen the menu on the newer ones so cant say if they switch off or not. But on the 250s it doent say drl just something about lights. And a tick box next to it.

 

Facelift 265 no option to turn off come on with ignition. No sidelights.

 

Lookin in menu for ‘Auto Headlights’ that’s drl ‘ON’

 

Ah so despite the 501 sidelight bulbs being there, they're not supposed to work? I spent about 10mins trying to wiggle them out and couldn't get them out, planning to change them to LEDs but looks like I just wasted my time lol...

 

Try switching in menu the ‘Auto lights’ off see if Reg side lights come on, have never tried it myself

 

Yeah I’ll have another look cuz I looked at this and the only option was “auto headlights” to which are on but I turn mine on manually, so maybe that’s it?
