i was going to get a can of stone chip from GSF but there computer were down yesterday so couldn't buy anything. i got fed up of cleaning my car and dirt coming out where the filler cap is. the amount of mid up there was disgusting came up alright though 20180506_104859 by matt eaton, on Flickr
halfords pro tool kit!..i have the large kit special they did a while back. They are brilliantly made, quality tools..i was amazed for what i paid. Was worth it for the full set of ratchet spanners alone.
Yeah, looks good. I wondered why so much crap comes down when I pressure wash that rear arch. Not had the rear wheels off yet tho so didn’t realise it was the filler neck harbouring the crud.
Had the following work done at Gary Burnetts, awesome as usual Can’t believe the difference the rack bush has made!
Got my wheels refurbed yesterday. And today sealed them and changed the gearbox oil Just needs lowering now
yeah it would either be grams or H&R. ive seen on facebook a few times people saying about snapped cooksport springs
my head can actually hit the fkn roof if i hit a depression at high speed. They just dont have the progression of the Eibachs. Suppose they cant really,as you have removed 35mm of travel.
oh dear. On the track they would work well..they defo help with rapid direction change, and turn in. Chuck a typical crappy UK B road at them though, you better hang on tight.
Wheels fitted yesterday , I have some H&R springs, 275 rear spoiler, and some red seat belts waiting to be done next
Got the car back from having a few bits done. All swivels replaced, new wheel bearings, CGR downpipe and my AST 5200s fitted. Got another engine mount enroute and some new fasteners to replace all the crusty ones that have corroded due to extinguisher use.
Treated her like a slag and give her a well need ravaging around north Wales. Accompanied by my mates M135i. Weather was great and we had a cracking morning.
Car looks awsome! I have decided my next purchase will be a Trophy. I am not normally keen on white or the trophy stickers, but your car looks so right.
Fitted some leather interior door handle covers. Fed up with suncream on my wife's knee keep affecting the paint on my door handles. Sprayed them 3 times now so was either some covers or some clear helicopter tape. Went for black with grey stitching.
Debadged the rear Megane badge and replaced the RS badge with a custom made black one with grey Renault Sport lettering. Looks loads better! Sent from my SM-G950F using Tapatalk
You got any more pictures from further back etc? Looks smart and debating doing the same! Just wasn't sure on how it would look on Oyster grey
Weird spec this one. Doesn't look like a real RS. Each to their own i guess. Unless it isn't real then its not a bad job
Picked it up from local garage where they’d fitted new brake discs and pads as if worn to the metal after last track day :-/
Have you been smoking crack , the trophy comes with a red blade, red wheels and stripes, looks like a Megane rs still lol
I did not say mine does, I was pointing out renault released a Megane with a red blade and wheels, and it still looks like a Meg rs. I have not changed the body kit or anything else visual on the car....
I just don’t get why you would want to make a car look like something it isn’t. It’s like trying to make a standard carrera into a GT3. The RS looks great as is. Styling is subjective though I guess so all that matters is the owner liking it
I am not trying to make it look like anything lol, last owner did the vinyl and I did the red wheels and blade, think you are getting the wrong idea why people modify in the 1st place
I think your car looks great with the red wheels and other changes. I really like how each car can be a little different. I'm not trying to make mine look like an R26R but just prefer the look of the R26R stickers, spoiler, red wheels etc.
Got rid of the Megane lettering, black Renault badge covers and custom RS logo to suit before and after pics:
Matthew Hayward on Facebook - he's on Megane forums and the like on there so is easy to find him. He'll custom make it to whatever colours you like. Think I paid £35 but well worth it
