  1. Well, ill be honest and say i was not planning on starting another one anytime soon :tongueout:

Have stolen the pic from the advert, as it needs a good wash before i take any

It has been well looked after, not been round it with a fine tooth comb, but it is more tidy than my last one. Has already been played with a bit, has intercooler, turbo cooler, ITG induction kit, exhaust system and 200 cell cat, RSTuning remap to 300+bhp

Still toying with swapping the springs, think i will leave it for now. I have ordered the white interior led kit again, will fit that some point, and have order orange led 501 for the front and wing mirrors, to get rid of the orange glow. Also thinking about changing the color of the front blade.

  2. If you found some LED blinkers which work well and don't error, please let me know. Tried a few and couldn't get it working without resistors.

  3. I made sure i got canbus ones, i have not tried them yet. I normally just buy the silvervison bulbs

  4. I got silvervision ones now. I put canbus in, but didnt work... there are some out there that do work because I saw some that have led all around.

  5. Nice to see you back with another Megane

  7. Thought i would try yet another windscreen rain repellent coating, wanted something a bit more simple to apply this time. I have already tried Gtechniq C1 and Geyon Q2 view, they are both good and designed to last longer, I did prefer the C1. This time i have gone with Gtechniq C5, not really had any really heavy rain to test it yet, but it works well, wont last as long as the other two, will most likely top it every 6 months or so.

Also got some Fireball Ultimate coating wax, have used recently and find quick and easy to apply and works really well

  8. Did a scan of the map the last owner had done

  10. Has had MoT, passed with flying colors, changed the thermostat sensor, made no difference to where the needle is positioned on the dash, but should future proof myself a bit

Tibors have been handed over for a respray, might get them back and fitted in a few weeks time

  11. Fingers crossed wheels be done by the end of next week, and then will try and get them picked up the week after, I have got hold of a 2nd hand set of seat belts, so that i can send them away to be re-webbed. Have also managed to get hold of a 275 spoiler, its in black, which is handy as the roof is wrapped, so will get that fitted maybe next month sometime.

  12. Given it a quick wash today, and had a go at removing the scratches in the top of the headlight

  14. ha ha..make me chuckle!

  15. my mate was letting his 3 years old slide off his car roof down his windscreen the other day!
You can image what this did to the paint on the roof.

  17. Mega job, just one can of red Plastikote?

  18. Yeah, I managed about 3 layers, with a bit still left in the bottom

  19. Wasn't sure I would like it to be honest, but it does seem to suit a white one!

  20. I removed the wind deflectors on Sun, the drivers one had cracked near the door pillar, and i was never that keen on them, so that decided it :tongueout:

  23. Is that a full replacement button or a stick on cover?

  24. Button as well, you can get just stick on covers, looking back that would probably been better, as it works out about £50 cheaper

  25. If you get one of those Sandisk cruizer USB sticks, you can still close the little flat on the front  Theyre around a fiver on ebay

  26. Not a bad idea, had not thought about getting one like that, and cheers, you just reminded me to go and get it, needs some new tunes putting on it :tongueout:

  27. Got myself a Worx pressure washer, not had chance to try it yet, but hoping its strong enough, to get the worst of the stuck on grime, and sheep **** i have to drive through everyday, and the snowlance might be just good enough to give the car a bit of a pre soak

  28. Got the wheels sorted

Have got H&R sat waiting to be fitted, along with the phase 2 rear spoiler(265/275), and a set of red seat belts

Did you ever get LED indicators to work on it?

  30. Still sat in the garage home :tongueout:, keep forgetting about it, probably better off playing safe and getting normal silvervision bulbs, if you are looking to chw

Yeah I'll probably get some SilverVision ones to be safe, I got some LEDs off eBay but they didn't work.

  32. That's going to look spot on when its got the springs on - like it a lot!

I love the red blade, looks OEM.

  34. A couple of better pics

    I3mdgeN.jpg

Still not sure weather to get rid of the side stips completly, or replace with red :tongueout:

  35. I quite like the black to be honest. I think if you went red, it might look a bit too much like you're trying to copy a Trophy R, whereas this looks a bit different.

Personal preference isn't it. I've never liked them stripes on the Meganes but I agree with Wangers, red would be too much red I think!

  37. So after fitting the red carbon button, i did not like having something red on left and not having something red on the right handside too.....

    Wait for it lol

Where did he want to go?

Where did you get the carbon button from and do they do other colours like yellow?
