  2. Save yourself some £ and do it yourself. You can buy the kit on eBay for £45.

  3. you can get this done by yourself.. how hard is it to do? and do you have a link to the kit??

  4. Just take it a local custom exhaust place its not a specialist job

  5. wicked so anyone who can do exhaust can do it?

  6. If you can buy DIY kits on ebay how hard can it be?

  7. Pipecraft in Basildon charged me £50 to do mine. Obviously not that local to you but any custom exhaust place should be able to help you. For that money, I don't know if it's even worth doing it yourself. Took the guy about 30 minutes on mine.

That’s the kit. Job is easy, get under the car (ramp, pit, axel stands etc.) then mark exhaust to be cut by offering up the delete pipe (allowing enough existing pipe to sleeve over) Then cut pipe. I used chain type pipe cutter. Slip on new pipe using exhaust assembly paste and clamp up.

  9. Just ring around your local exhaust garages. Its such a cheap mod that im not sure its worth bothering doing yourself.

  10. Agreed. One of the DIY kits above is £45, plus the tool to cut the exhaust. I paid £50 for the whole job and I didn't have to lay on the floor under the car, so well worth it lol

  11. There is a Longlife in Peterborough, they are nomaly good

  12. Im in Peterborough, and Ill be doing mine shortly. Been looking at cutting tools on ebay, are the chain ones good enough to cut through the stainless exhaust?

Happy to do yours too fella for a few beer tokens?

  13. I bought a chain cutter for mine and it cut through my standard pipe like a knife through butter. If you were near me I’d happily lend it to you.

Where about a are you located?
£25 isn't a great deal but I'd rather give a fellow forum bloke the beer tokens than someone on eBay

  15. I'll get a set ordered when im ready to do the chop. Nice one.

@Browno95 if you want it doing mate, I'll do it for the price of the tool and a tube of paste
