Can we have a recording please Steve ? How is it different ? What supporting mods are you running ? I guess having a custom made one was cost prohibitive ?
Hi Andy it's not a custom made one, it's the Renault sport full system that was an option , sounds fantastic such a shriek when you boot it.
how much was the custom built one out of curiosity? you had a brand new one or second hand? I really want one

It's a genuine one, I did try a couple of companies for a price but they never got back to me, also it's a big risk if it's not the sound your after, I managed to get an as new second hand one that had only covered very few miles at a very very good price and it's the sound I wanted, my mates got one on his with a sports cat but I'll be leaving mine as it is.

I still think for the price these things are it's simply not worth it. If someone else spec'd it fine, you're letting someone else waste their cash!
Crikey - Mine doesn't sound like that! No pops and bangs anyway. Mind you, I've only ever heard it from the driver's seat where you just get the "Darth Vader" noise. I'm guessing that's not a bog standard R?
I'm with you daz, I'm not to sure what the option cost when new was, around 3k I think but if you knew what I paid for it then you would agree that it was simply worth it mate.

That does sound good I'm in the market for a new exhaust but don't think I would dare spend the three grand on a renault ti I know Steve said good price but still gotta be more than what I'd want to pay I'm finding it hard whether to pay 450 for a milltek or ktec or not lol
Have heard this bit im booked in to rst on the 28 feb for a stg 1 map i either need one before then or not at all co i dont want to have to drive two hour to get my map tweaked
Yes it does, it sounds like no other exhaust I've ever heard, it's like a deep shriek, think that's why its got the earth vader nick name
They do sound awesome, I was following an .R at Spa with the Ti, Sounds mega even over the noise of my own exhaust. Shame the car was slow.....
Should be released some time this month, it'll be priced competitively, and I'm pretty sure it'll be a work of art having spoken to Paul. It's on my shopping list! P.s nice work Steve, glad you finally got one and are happy with it. I'll have to start calling you David Dickinson as your the king of bargain hunting!
Love the noise of these, much better than the wet fart noise the Megane makes. is the RSTuning system going to be Ti or stainless ?
Try getting a box chopped out. My meg doesnt sound like a wet fart. I believe the system will be stainless.

Sounds, good but Im not talking about it sitting still. Maybe taking the wet fart comment a bit to literal Listening back to the fly by on the computer its probably just the iPhone making it sound worse than it is. I can see why they do not fit a radio into the R26R, the Ti exhaust sound is all you need to listen to. I love mine and find it does pop and bag when pressing on. I come from having a Scooby, so wanted a unique exhaust sound as I think it gives the car some character. Very hard to beat the scoob burble though.
Its done now rob , it's the only thing I've really wanted for it to be honest mate, I'll just maintain it now
