250 Trophy 275 engine map on RS250

Discussion in 'Mechanical - Engine, Gearbox, Exhaust etc' started by Paolo Pinkel, May 2, 2018.

  1. Hey guys,

is it possible to transfer the engine map of the Trophy 275 on to the RS250 ecu? As far as I know the engine and periphery are the same for 250/265/275. My goal is to get the extra 25hp from the tested factory tune.

So does anyone know if this is possible and who can do that?

    Thank you

    Pete

Akra makes pretty much no difference to power, regardless what the marketing Spiel says.

  5. i thought that was technically the reason they put it on.
2.75 inch over 2.5 must make some difference?

The downpipe and flexi pipe are still identical between the standard exhaust and the Akra, each of these components individually adds more restriction than the rest of the exhaust system does, plus the Akra isn't quite 70mm it's only a touch bigger than the factory system mainly for tooling reasons over any performance benefit unfortunately.

Extra power is from the calibration, exhaust makes no difference to output, unless as Charlie says, you change downpipe and flexi.

  8. Megane 275 with no akra are 275bhp and the trophy with an aka is 275...

  9. Akrapovic was claimed to save 4kg over the standard system which was its purpose as part of the total weight saving regime.

  10. No.
    275 differs from 250/265:
    1. Catback Akrapovich
    2. Wideband O2 sensor
    3. Ecu
