So my car's got a dent.... Trolley or door, not too sure. I've been given a quote by a dent remover of £96. Wondering what I can do for this myself
Has gone through the paint? and i don't know what your skills are like I would get someone else to do it if it was mine
It's not gone through the paint. The marks are the remnants of the culprit which can be removed with T-cut i reckon. I'm quite happy to try it myself with a dent puller but just wondering about how to seat it around that area
It’s not as easy as using a dent puller mate. Look up paintless dent removal on YouTube. It’s a skilled job! For reference I was quoted £50 for two similar ones removing.
£96 is steep. Try another few local PDR people and let them do it. I would be expecting to pay around £50 - £70 depending how local they are to you. Hope you get it sorted!
Wow that seems really expensive! There may be more work in it than meets the eye... - depending on access to the dent etc? I had a football sized sent taken out of my last car, about 18months ago and it was £60 or £70 and that was for the guy to come to my house.
Found a place near me that quoted £50 to do it. They won't charge me if they can't do it (varying degrees of success i suppose). And they'll also give me a courtesy car for the couple of hours
