Just about to collect my new (to me) 275-R, Black with Red trimmings. Thought I should join up to gain learn from everyone’s wisdom and experience. The new car is replacing a Clio III 200 Cup full fat, which I loved....but the siren call of forced induction, LSD and light weight was too strong to resist. Pics in a week or so.
This happened today. Flew from Canberra to Melbourne, then drove back (700km). Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to take the scenic twisty route, so it was a boring trip on the tightly speed-controlled motorway. The Trophy-R is not the best long-distance tourer...but that isn’t its purpose...or my intention! Now I’m buggered...and the car is bugged! Big clean on the weekend.
Spent a little time washing, claybaring and sealing the paintwork, in the vain hope that it’ll be easier to keep clean. At least I like the immediate outcome!
