car has started to make a weird noise. Sounds like I’m driving over a piece of metal in the road. Only seems to happen when moving forwards very slowly?
Id start off by jacking up at each wheel, give it a shake and spin the wheel to see if you can hear a noise, then I'd be checking ball joints and see if your gearbox bolts snapped
Do always get it when moving forwards? EG like in slow traffic, or just when cold and you 1st move off?
When moving forwards at low speed. Doesn’t matter if engine has just been started or not. If you threw a steel rod on the floor and drove over it, that’s the sound it makes.
Cou Could this noise have anything to do with the dash saying my o/s/r tyre pressure monitor is absent?? Is it possible it’s snapped off inside the tyre?
It was the tyre pressure sensor. Now do these have to be programmed by Renault when they’re replaced?
