Hi, Newbie member considering purchasing a second hand, low mileage 16 plate 275 cup s or trophy if I can find one. I've previously owned a 2009 megane 2.0 tce before heading down the focus St route. Question is, how are people finding the reliability of late plate rs275's. Any reoccurring things to be aware of or common faults. I recall my old tce wasn't the best. Cheers!
Main things to look out for is knocking on the front due to the balljoints on the hub carrier being abit delicate, but tbf ive been carefull driving mine and they lasted years/30k+ miles. Ive heared one or two have had heater fan/resistor pack issues, and software gremins.
Thanks. It was actually the heater fan that went on my tce.... Good to see Renault never cottoned on to that one :-)
Again, never had and of the common problems with mine, its been very reliable, only problems ive had were thermastat and air temp sensor, changed both and purrs like a kitten again
