Anyone had this replaced on their r26? Local garage saying it's a faff and will be a big job and pricey. It's the heater motor/fan that's knackered - power is going into fan. TIA

I have zero mechanical skills and the patience of a 3 year old. It's not worth the scrapped knuckles or offensive language my neighbours would've to endure if I attempted it. I'll pay a man to do it.
Changed mine awhile back, pretty dtraight forward. Hardest bit is getting yourself under the dash in a way you can reach the motor. Other than that its just a case of turning, removing and replacing
