Fitted some dS3000
Given it a full service and ordered 2 new tyres

 

Fitted 6000k HIDs and fixed the window regulators. Have to say, the Meg really suits 6000k lights

Finally got round to fitting the apex lowering springs! Just have to see how they look when settled in!

 

Fitted ktec induction kit and samco hoses I got from santa

 

Going to be doing this in a few weeks. Was it easy enough to fit the Induction kit?

Yeah nice easy job, only fiddly bit was battery tray bolts as they had seized up but they came out in the end

 

Cleaned the interior and fitted these that my Mrs got me for Christmas from Carbonfibreskins, I thought the carbon backing might look a bit naff but it doesn't at all. Well chuffed.

Today the car decided it was going to start opening the boot when I started the engine so I removed the boot switch and opened to give a clean and dry. For the third time since I've had it.
This time I put a small bead of aquarium silicone on where the two parts seal so hopefully no more water ingress.

 

Put the fitted mats i bought from amazon the other day in the car. Only £16. Not the worlds most amazing quality but good enough. Happy with them.

 

Not so much done, more like found something to do - my passenger window has stopped working. Again.

 

Sorting out the double DIN conversion and steering wheel controls properly tomorrow. Might have a look at the cigarette lighter and feed the leather too.
Oh and I've got to take the throttle body off to have look.

 

Booked the car in for a service with Renault. Found out there is a recall for the brake hoses on my car, so they will be getting done too, Also going for the back box chop the same day

I didn't do much to my car, but some f**kstain opened their door onto my passenger door and left a cracking big dent for me! Even better than that, they f**ked off without leaving any details.

Seems that my Megane christmas curse has struck again.. :/

 

Big service, replaced all the engine mounts and fitted a shortshift from Andrewjeffs. No vibrations and a nice positive gear change. I wonder what the next problem that needs solving will be...

 

I had the oem air filter out and blew all the crap out with an airline , there was fag ends and allsorts in there . Its a different car now pulls again ...... Time for an ITG I think

 

Bought milltek decat and cat back system

 

Got the car cleaned for the first time in around 2 months, was hanging! Took these pics later on, thought it looked good in the petrol station light. Need to get it lowered big time!

 

Fitting turbo gauge

 

Cool not seen a turbogauge fitted yet.. are they a good alternative to the scangauge?

Do any of these gauges give you an oil temperature reading?
