So im no stranger to track days but after pulling my clio track car off the road for ITB'S and cams ready for next years track days and a round of time attack or two ive been having major withdrawal symptoms, so booked up for blyton park on the 5th November with a couple mates in their clios. I have drove blyton a few times in a borrowed DC5, and my old leon cupra, having never drove the trophy on track im looking forward to it! Fitted some CL RC5+ pads, and collecting some megane cup wheels with a048s on before the day so should be in descent shape! How do people find the MK3s on track in near standard form? here is a couple photos of the 2 cars....
Out of the box they're awesome, with a few trick suspension mods they're unbelievable. Some fancy dampers and a proper alignment makes them into a bit of a monster on track. Are you local to Blyton?
I have had to refrain from going down that route, if it wasn't a very clean low mileage trophy it would have been a track toy by now! interested to see how capable it is compared to the clio. and no im not, im about 150 miles north in newcastle
Hi Mark, unlike your good self I am a stranger to track days.. I have done 3 :-) but might come along to Blyton on the 5th for the first outing of my R26.
pretty sure mines doesnt have keyless entry :/ Blyton is a good first track to do mate, thats where i did my first day years ago in a leon cupra.
I thought all trophys were the same. I thought the only option was painting the roof black. Mine has black handles, yours silver My headlights are black inside, yours are silver
