As per title. Has anyone done it? If so, which one have you fitted and what thread sandwich plate is needed? Thanks
I have, i had a oil temp and pressure gauge in mine, the pressure gauge went tits up and the gauges were to bright when driving at night so pulled them out. this is like the one i bought, but in black and you need the 20mm fitting. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sandwich-...086802?hash=item33d8c47912:g:Na8AAOSwGYVW8qFH
@ianplymouth thanks for the link, I saw that one but wasn't sure if it was the right one for the 250! Yeah I thought about that as well, but I'm hoping to buy gauges which dim when the headlights switch on. A company in America, glowshift make ones that do. Which brand gauges did you use?
225 and the 250 ones are the same, so then i assume the Clio ones are the same as the oil filters are the same. I should have really looked into that with the dimming of the back lights, but as the sensor for the oil pressure and the boost sensors went tits up i just ripped it out, still have the gauges though. i bought 3 of these, as i wanted digital readouts much easier to read (it's an age thing now) quick glance to see numbers instead of gazing and trying to work out if its there or there about's. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2-52mm-Ca...642029&hash=item25c688483d:g:GkIAAOSw401Z6eC9 seen these, might give them ago http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/52mm-LCD-...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649
Oh okay, I didn't know they all had the same oil filter. I guess ones which dim, will be slightly more expensive. The ones I'm looking at are around $40-$50 each. But they seem to be good quality and they dim and they're the exact style I'm after!
