   Hi all,
   
   I am about to upgrade the turbo soon or first quarter next year. Has anyone got any idea about turbo blanket? I found that DEi turbo blanket kit is about 100 quid but the one from my motherland is just under 20. First of all, will a blanket make any good to the performance? Secondly, will it make any harm to the system? Has anyone tried the one from China, any issue?

   my mate bought a cheaper turbo blanket wrap ...its falling to bits after just a couple of months on his DC2 turbo.
   
   Its obviously supposed to keep bonnet temps down,so colder air enters the engine.
   Really a quality intercooler should do the job better.
