Love that. Quite a nice spec too. Didn't know miltek made a 3 inch exhaust system. Where did you get that from?
No problems at the moment. I change the gear oil (motul e-gear LS 75w90) every 20.000km. I know that soon, I need to change the clutch, hope to reach 90.000km
I don´t know what power have now. With stock turbo I think 330cv and 460nm aprox. Here you have a video before hybrid turbo. With stage 2. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0AlPqEPlms8 I will make another with the new turbo and remap.
Wicked car you got there. Question has the Vibra technics Torque link made any noticeable changes to the car?
I purchased one of these here in the UK and it wouldn't fit the car, rear bolt hole was too small. VT took the item back but refused to accept it was incorrect and thus wouldn't modify it. Be interesting to see if yours fit?
Yes, all have this problems. Is necessary to enlarge the hole a little, a few mm, then fit correctly. It is advisable to mount it if you bring down the suspension. The original is of poor quality. When I change it the OEM it was in very bad conditions With the Vibra technics notes a bit more vibration but nothing annoying. A great improve for the price have. Sorry for my bad english, I hope you can undestand me...
No your English is perfectly understandable. How did you enlarge the hole? I attempted to drill it out but due to the sleeve being surrounded in rubber it just twists and cracks the rubber
I've contacted Vibra Technics and brought the problem to their attention. Hopefully they will rectify the fault and it becomes a directl fitment for us I'll keep everyone posted with their response.
Hi there, We want to make a design for the car, for run the timeattack this year. Can help me with some chops? Thanks
What are the wheels? I want some cheap and lightish wheels for mine but don't fancy paying £1600 for the OZ's at the moment as i have a clutch change to pay for
They look like Rota's to me. I was looking at getting some OZ Ultras but they're not available in the right offset - and never have been I'm told
Yes the original wheels are ET65, but if you want to have wheels protruding more then mounts low ET. I don't think lower than 40/45
I've got some ATS Crosslights coming from Germany. They're ET50 but will be getting machined slightly to get the ET a bit closer to the original. Streamline carbons old car was running a similar style of wheel and theirs were machined by the manufacturer in Italy
Looks great, what have you done to the interior? And have you done anything to lower the weight of the car? Thanks
Really? Seems like you'd just machine material off the inside and machine the bit that meets the hub to match.
Forgive me, I'm getting mixed up with what way the offset would go. Your right but it isn't something I would ever do personally, who knows how much material there actually is and how strong it will be after machining some off
They'll be taking millimetres off the wheel, if they think it's not safe they won't be doing it. I'd prefer not to, so might just see how they fit without being machined first. The wheel company where I'm buying them from have done this quite a few times and changed the PCD on wheels too I'm told. They've been running their Subaru around the 'Ring, so it's had some hammer, and no issues with the wheels. The machine company also does this all of the time so all very experienced people who are dealing with them. I do agree with you though Jamie, I'd prefer not to do it if I can get away with it
Thought so I wouldn't do it either if I could just get the right ET anyway. I'd hope if anyone did do it, whoever did the work would have the sense to not take silly amounts off. There's usually a fair chunk of material in the center but you don't want it stressing and cracking :X
