Good job, i had been think about doing the blade and DRL's, i was hoping it would use the same loom and be plug and play, sorta thing lol
Cleaned my steering wheel again today. Not bad for 38k miles it looks like new! [emoji846] Pics: Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Removed the black vinyl wrap off of the roof and wing mirrors on my LY R26. Standard roof decals will be ordered up this week
Decided to keep the car progress with wheel refurb new tyres new turbo Bosch injectors get it up to 365bhp and have it for my weekend go to blaster. Selling was a mistake prices are poor the cars awesome Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
No RS Tuning do a brand new turbo rather than hybrid I believe there is no trade in deal on your old one. I maybe wrong but this non hybrid can go quite a lot higher with regards generating bhp. I don't fancy a forged motor just might look at new suspension and brakes though when they need upgrading. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Just noticed Jamie, what you are using to scat tools and overspray on...Hope you didnt pinch them from a Ford owners club meet! Mind you,the Zetec lump derseved to have things thrown at it.
Brake ducts look good. How'd you get on with the 250 callipers? Post a pic when you get them back from the painter [emoji6]
They are at the painter juat now, ill get them in a week or so. Wasn't going to bother but the guy that dine my wheels said he would do them at a good price so thought why not haha
Finally got around to painting the headlight inserts. Also ripped the black badge off to 're paint as it's scratched to hell. Excuse the filthy car!
Also had the clutch and DMF done yesterday. Enjoyed that money leaving my wallet! And because the car loves me so much, it's started knocking at the front passenger side, early suspicions are on the swivel joint.
I took the parcel shelf out and went for a drive up to St Andrews with the missus. Plus points, car is much much louder. Negative points, my girlfriend was very loud when I was trying to create said noise.
Fitted the ktec smaller back box to my milltek. Not to sure on it at the moment Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
that right hand wheel on the ramp is very very scarey, hopefully you didnt go under the car like that... you can fit the exhaust without removing the rear bumper, i have swapped over a few times now, a bit of wriggling and shoving and it goes
im afraid i did go under the car like that i thought it would make pulling the backbox easier if i removed the bumper, and it did. the back bumper it held on alot better than the front!! definitely pops and bangs more with the smaller box but i think it might be too loud for me. ill leave it on for a week and decide
We have all done things like this..jacking up and working without axle stands etc,so you are not alone. However i always think twice these days, after a family friend mechanic was working under the front of a car in his workshop alone. The car was held up only by the jack with no axle stands..and the jack collapsed. He wasnt found for several days, and unfortunately died trapped under the car. I always wonder how long he suffered trapped for many hours before he died. Takes things like that sometimes to make you think twice.
Nice I've actually got a pair of AD08Rs to go in my rosd wheels as well to replace the dead ones, another pair of 255s, can't wait for Spa next week!
Excellent. Hope to do spa next year. Might need to order up some khumos for the back but going to try thr ado8r first on back with r888r on the front
They were new but showed up a bit different to what I had ordered originally so had to get the face painted, I think you'll agree they look much better now. Perfect size as well for track wheels, 17x9s ET45
What make are those wheels Jamie. I'm still looking for some track wheels but tbh I don't know which to get. Do the 17s clear the brembo calipers ok
