As per title. I picked this up last Friday after a good hunt around for one with everything I wanted on it. Very pleased with it. I have owned a Williams, Valver, and a couple 172. Never a Megane. Quite fancied one so thought why not. Drove one and fell in love with it. OG with Leather Recaros, Nav, Cup Pack, Xenons etc Few pictures below. So far I have put Black Diamonds on there and removed the Megane badge and stuck in a Panel filter and removed the airbox deadening. Mid pipe on order for the chop. So will tackle that and then a RSTuner remap is on the cards. Also a Steering wheel retrim. Few little niggles but these are being sorted by the dealer. So all good
Thanks guys, Yeah it is my R32 as well. Honestly not a great deal of extra noise. I was expecting more. Tiny bit more induction growl. A small amount of flutter if you let off the throttle when on boost. Small noise when you change gear when on it.
Shame it's not louder. Just about to do the mod to mine, was hoping for some good noises so I don't have to pay out for a full cai kit and dv. I'll try it anyway first. Like the r32. Makes nice noises that engine.
Nice bye, sure looks good, if going to remap it's worth upgrading some parts to give the map something more than just standard engine to work with. Larger IC, mid box chop, or maybe decat if want bigger results.
Yeah I was expecting it to be louder. See what you think. I am not keen on doing the CAI due to it being a bit too loud. But might give one a crack. The R32 is a nice car. Just very dull and VW like. However the noise is amazing. That is the only problem with the Megane and I guess 4 pots in general. The noise. Can't have everything though I guess
I am very happy with it. Mid box chop is being done next week. IC would be on the cards next year. Not sure I can be doing with the faff of swapping out the cat every year come MOT time. Something to look at in the future.
