a question about boost pressure.

  1. hello folks,

I wanted to know how high the charge pressure display on your RS monitor goes.
I noticed today that in my car the bar only goes up to 75%.
Is this normal or should the bar not go to 100% under full throttle?

  2. Boost_pressure Torque Rpm Power Gear
    2.29 344 5597 275 4

That's a subset of the data from my car on a run through RS Monitor. That is the highest reading the boost pressure was recorded. I'm not even sure of the units because 2.29 BAR is over 33 psi, but my point is, you will only get full boost displayed when other conditions are meet.

  3. 2.29 is apsolute manifold pressure. Zou have to substract ambient pressure at 1 bar and zpu have a 1.29bar boost pressure

  4. Of course - thanks.

  5. my workshop found the solution. a smale leak in the intercooler. thy can fix the probleme and now the pressure is above 1.25bar.
car runs very well, goes easály over 230km/h
