250 Upgrading to later model Head Unit

    So I've currently got the bog standard HU in my 250, with a red/white lead connected to my phone for music. Would a later model HU just be a plug and play affair? And am I right in thinking that I could play my music via Bluetooth on them also?

    You can play music via the standard unit in the 250

    Thank you! I never realised that there were input options for the aux.

    Oh god yes, severely lacking in quality!

    Only if your radio supports Bluetooth obviously. Which mine doesn't sadly.

    I have a spare OEM unit that supports bluetooth.

    Mine hasn't got BT.
    I don't know if I can simply swap mine for Chris' spare ...

    They should be plug and play. The one I replaced it with was.
