How easy is it to remove the carbon dashboard trim MK3?

  1. As above, thanks!

  2. I think when I did mine I took the air vent out and the panel below then used some trim removal tools to pry it out. When I googled it it said there was two Torx screws at the back which you have to take the glovebox out to access but mine didn't have these in. The clips that hold it in are really stubborn so be careful not to damage it!

  3. Thanks, I'm not bothered about damaging it taking it out its more just how to do it, will be replacing it with a new one.

I've already tried to remove the vent once to get to the glovebox bulb but just couldn't manage to get it out?!

  4. I think you need to pull the trim of a bit first as the vent has clips under the trim.

  5. As above mine didn't have the two screws in the back also. I used the guide I found online but took the side vent and glove box out.

  6. Thanks, a-ha so there's a guide - will have a look for it...!!

  7. Did some cars come with carbon trim? Mine just looks like its plastic look a like.

  8. Perhaps I should've said "carbon-look".
