I've found this to be awful on the low end, like really flat and tinny kicks we renders the system unusable at high volumes during motorway driving (turning it up just a bit sounds terrible) I also have an issue with a speaker seemingly cutting out at low speed which seems odd, anyone else experienced this? I hate the look of an aftermarket head unit and don't want to add a sub to deal with the low end. Therefore I'd like to just upgrade the existing door speakers, I haven't cocked about with speakers since I was about 17 (9 years ago) so I have no idea where the arkamys system sits on the scale and what would be an upgrade. Anyone able to offer some advice? Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk
I believe you can get a direct fit focal system (or at least the speaker part of it) to slot straight in? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
You could get some sound deadening material fitted to the doors as well that should improve things without being noticeable at all.
I'm in the same position. Not impressed with the Arkamys "upgrade". I suppose it depends what you want to spend. I've been quoted £1200 by a local Audison specialist for the full works (speakers, sub, dynamat, amp, dab retrofit, etc) but that's a lot of cash I could be spending on decats and trackdays. I suppose I could just try having the little sub fitted that I already own. But I think I'm just wasting money there. Interesting to hear Focal do an upgrade. Had their speakers in a previous car and they were just epic!

I believe focal do 2x versions for the MK4 Megane, which I have been told fit into the MK3 speakers. The dealer who sold me my 275 new mentioned he had done it to his 265. That's all I got sorry. Jump on Renault website and look at MK4 accessories etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
