Just purchased an RS 250. I travelled up north to collect it , 240 miles each way. I owned a 182 for 6 years and have had my eye on a megane for a while. So far very pleased. Would be good to go to some meets / events with others on here. I live in Farnham Surrey. I have my car booked in for a wheel refurb next week, would be interested to hear from any members who have a white megane with anything other than black wheels! Most likely to go for black but was considering a dark anthracite ? After a clean today....
Welcome aboard. I have been debating wheel colour a lot lately (my car is red admittedly) but I do think black works best on these cars, thanks to the black front bumper insert etc. I've got a 172 Cup as well as my Meg, do love a Clio!
They're satin-black as standard, but the gloss ones in your photo look great. Presumably they've been refurbed before at some point, but I'd go for gloss again.
They may look good in the photo but up close, not so great! They look matt in some places and then gloss where I think there is abit of excess tyre shin on them ha ha. Im going to the wheel specialist tomorrow to have a look at some examples.
I meant that gloss-black suited your car. I've a black car and sometimes the OEM colour satin-black wheels just look a bit dull. If I was ever to have them re-done it would probably be gloss.
