RS250 with 300/348 currently 27.9 but in town - 23 at best. Lots of smiles per gallon and my favourite performance car in 26 years of driving :-)
Std RS250 34 mpg atm. I usually average 35+ on my commute (26 miles. 2/3 of it being B roads). Have seen 40 mpg once or twice.
Currently sitting at this after 1300 miles of mixed motorway, fast a/b road and town driving. Seen it higher though [emoji23] Single figures/low teens when pressing on mind you.
By not driving like a bellend all the time. I do 2k minimum a month in mine and regularly see 35+ Not for decat, that's mapped out. Due to the seats and steering wheel.
Is it mapped? Brand new Trophy driven to the speed limits and not like a bellend (thanks Jamie) - won't go above 32. R26 on 40k miles was exactly the same. 172 on the other hand I could get 45mpg. All on same fuel, same commute. Before you suggest it's my driving - I could get 75mpg out of the wifes mk4 Clio dci against her 62, and the book figure of 82. I'm just wondering if the people seeing 40mpg are running remaps, and those of us that can't get near aren't.
Before and after remap mpg is about the same on these. Unless you are going to use the extra poke and rag the balls of it.
Not yet. End of this month, as it happens. It takes a few days of driving sensibly to get it up to 40 mind. That said, I reckon on a looooooooong run it would get there too. Running on VPower makes a difference too.
I've only had my car 3 days, but on a run through Bristol into Hampshire at little over the speed limit on the motorway and A roads I got 34mpg. This seems a bit low to me?
Fully stock megane R26 2008 i managed average 40.3 mpg @65 mph from kent to southend when i picked my car up few weeks back. Sorry i dont have the picture .
I've had my R26 almost 3 months and I've not seen any more than about 30-32 on a run and I'm getting between 25-27 in town. Last week I was a tad more enthusiastic and only returned 24.
There's a very distinct 2 groups here - ones that get 25-30 and others that get 35-40. I would like to know the reason for this, hence asking about remaps earlier. There's no way on earth my mk3 or mk2 would get anywhere near 40mpg, no matter how it was driven.
