Tbh, that bracket doesn't do alot really. With an original downpipe it does but the decat is so light and since it's hanging on a cast manifold it won't harm anything. The bracket on the lower flange is something they added to the design later on though. Pointed that one out to them and they said it wasn't needed, good to see they've added it anyhow
The decats don't need the central bracket, they don't need the lower bracket mount incorporated into the flange too but we decided to include it in the newer designs as it doesn't really cost much extra at our end and gave a lot of people peace of mind
