Maybe it's just me but the car seems to take too long to start. Any possible causes if there actually is a problem?
Just wondered if there was a common problem with these cars. I used to have an old BMW, and this was a common problem caused by a duff cam sensor. It's not long long, maybe 2 or 3 turns. Can't work out if it's just me.
That's OK then. A cam sensor on an old BMW is a piece of piss, longitudinal engine installation and lots of space. I hate working on FWD cars.
I have this issues too, happens randomly and sometimes it feels as if the cars not going to start...I know my injectors need cleaning so going to try this first.
Don't know if it could be the same issue, but my old 182 sometimes took a bit of cranking, particularly when warm, when there was a problem with the wiring to the coolant temp sensor. When that was a problem, the temp gauge used to move about a bit as you accelerated/slowed down.
