I can move the upper engine mount side to side with ease. Is this normal?

  5. Is it the same size has the bottom mount?

  6. Need to take the weight off the engine also?

Would you recommend an insert for the main one at the same time?

    Nope.

Engine doesn't need supported to remove, it's only a torque link to stop fore and set movement and doesn't support anything.

Yellow insert for main mount would probably be off benefit. I'd avoid black one though, it's too harsh

  8. Yeah I've read about the black powerflex inserts. Bit too much for road?!

The engine needs supporting for the main one to be removed I take it?

After looking last night there is only x2 bolts for the upper rear mount and what looks like x3 for the main?

I'm still getting a knock from a while back when changing from 1st to 2nd. Checked every bit of the suspension and all seems fine and it's all pretty much new anyway. I'm hoping it's one of the mounts causing it?
