These are the same red Ill get some decent photos up when I collect them in Wednesday and find out the code
Ignore that, They are 3020 as well haha, Just poor photos. Or my Cup wheels haven't been that clean in a long time.
Replaced n/s top mount and bearing as it was creeking badly after lowering onto cooksport springs Just waiting for o/s to start moaning next
Washed snd tucked away for the weekend, try and keep the miles down this year and get a runabout for work next year Also recieved my R26R spoiler from Lifestyle Renault, can't wait to paint and fit it!!
Gaz the surround shown would that fit RS250 exhaust trim? If so where did you get the bits look great Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Cheers! They are bits removed from my car Currently rocking no door handles Handles are gloss, exhaust trim satin Should look better than the tatty silver handles it rocked previously
MOT time! 24k since the last one with some particularly harsh driving on the west coast of Scotland! Pass! Comments: Blokey 1: "minter?" Blokey 2: "wee minter!" [emoji1303] RS 175 Cup Lux
Mot time ...With no worries.. passed with no advisorys.. spent so much money this year,I would of cried if it failed And finally fitted my swivel hub bearing bolts with crease nipple's
Piece of piss Open the door, look where the handle is, there's a 10mm bung With regards to the special tool I used this http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Laser-6239-...3Ab00688e615a0a2a4f3815922fffe63bc%7Ciid%3A10 You can use wire but it needs to be stiff
Morning quick question how easy is it to them over the exhaust trim wanting to paint mine black as well cheers Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
odinson said: How easy where the handles to remove buddy ..Piece of piss The theory is really simple, but my R26 ones were a real pain.. pull lever with a bent bicycle spoke/coat hanger, slide lock out and slide handle backwards!! Gave up a few times but persevered and got them out with some wiggling. Be careful putting them back in that you do not push the mechanism right in when you reinsert the handle so that it doesn't fall inside the door.
been busy this morning fitted 6000k bulbs changed the washer bottle top the smaller .R one changed spark plugs changed oil fitted a new temic as the passenger window stopped working
Did something about them stupid tips on the window rubbers today, i used some of the black sealer type stuff, that you find around the door cards, to seal against the panel. Also dressed the tyres, car looks much better now, almost looks a different color to when i started
Lined up for next week: two new Michelin cup 2 tyres for the front (125 + vat from Auto Precision Scunthorpe) high gloss black wheels refurbished, H&R -35mm springs and new driver's door check strap. Belts, water pump and thermostat next month!
Finally fitted my second hand inferno door hinge as the old one has done my head in since i got the inferno meg Got a helping hand from one of my lads...Who was happy to help for a bit of cash...So happy quite days
Dropped the H&R springs off at the garage for fitting next week. Cup2's have arrived and gloss black powder coat refinish for the wheels arranged too!
Has it gone mouldy? It will dry eventually but it needs rinsing out with a hose or soaking in a bucket. I hacked mine into smaller bits so I could clean it more easily then packed it around all the radiators in the house. Once it's back in the car you wont notice or care that it's been chopped up. It holds LOTS of water though so spend some time squeezing as much out of it as you can before you attempt to dry it. Horrible job.
Cheers for the info, it was really soaked, spent ages squeezing water out, just got to find out where the water is getting in now, its not the scuttle drains.
Mine was the aircon drain. Absolutely packed with crap so a surprisingly large amount of condensation was spilling out into the car. It's an absolute bastard to clean out from the top with one of those drain unblocker rods but might be easier from underneath. http://www.meganesport.net/footwell.htm
Just got my new trophyesq stripes from Jester Creations being put on with some additional vinyl next week will post when done should be great....... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Decat fitted and new AC condenser, picked it up today. If anyone is even thinking of decatting the standard system but not sure, just get it done! Pops and bangs for fun in sport mode! Coming together slowly :-) Deep clean next!
Just back from Costco having had x4 Michelin PS4s fitted. £417 with a £50 Costco voucher arriving in the post shortly. Can't grumble at that. Loads quieter than the Hankook winters that were on it. Looking forward to seeing if they perform as reviewed.
Ordered my sports cat and parked the car up on the drive to give it a wash but the bastard rain won't stop
Went out to replace the thermostat. Took one look at the rusty hose clips and thought 'not today'. Then it rained 5 minutes after packing up just to add to my apathy...
Just a wash to remove the rock salt left from Tuesday's snow. Typical the sun was so intense the snow foam baked on in seconds [emoji57] RS 175 Cup Lux
Fitted LED bulbs to the rest of my lights including the Xenons on-line dearer bulbs for the side lights: (sorry for the crap photos) Also changed my mudflaps to make them bigger
Since my last update I've had a CGR decat fitted and a map tweak at RS Tuning. The car sounds very naughty now, I love it. I'm currently sitting in DDC in Doncaster's (great guys) waiting room while they replace a hub bearing and fit a new set of plain front discs with Performance Friction Z rated pads. Can't wait to drive it in anger again!
