Been driving my megane lately and doesn't seem to be performing like it should :/ when in 4th gear under load the revs go around but doesn't speed up , now it happens when it's in 3rd too I have priced up a ktec clutch with single mass are these good and any advise due to problem ??
Did k-tec ever sort the error code problem they had with their SMF? As i read it kept throwing up error codes, iirc it was due to the trigger pattern?
We're can I get these clutch flywheels kits from ktec have just sold there last ones and need urgent really ???
hi nath i have the same problem i have just waisted money on a ktec ind kit i was going to go single mass and `r cluch but big change as i cant afford it so std kit will go back in! ps NEVER take it to humberside sabb/renault read my thread on my tire sensors
Yeah smf is the best I got quoted £1200 at rs tuning which I though was good that was everything and fitted just weather to get my stage 2 map while it's in
Do you have to replace the dmf when doing the clutch or can you just do the clutch on its own? Cheers
Spoke to Mark Black about this the other day. They will check the DMF when doing the clutch, if it looks ok it can be left and you only have a clutch to pay for. Should be south of £500 mate. PM Mark Black for more info.
