Hi. Im off to look at an RS250 tommorow and its listed as a cup model but how can i physically tell to be sure? Thanks
Yes cheers, but not a guarentee as the badge was fitted by the dealer apparently so many dont have it and theres plenty of non cups with red calipers iv come across. Anything else?
If it's a Cup model, rather than a normal model with the Cup pack then it will have Cup on the V5 document if you ask to look at it.
Cheers for the advice. This is the car if anyone has any input... Look at this on eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172422693433
No a proper cup would have cloth interior and wouldnt have climate control. Its the sport with the cup pack option.
Ok so got the bottom of it. Spoke to renault uk and they confirmed it is a CUP chassis. Must have been able to spec the bits.
Might just be me, but i dont understand why people did not just buy the cup, and then spec the better seats ect, instead of buying a normal one and then specing it a cup
It didn't work like that, you couldn't get the same spec out of a cup just by ticking boxes as the FF/sport came with climate and leather etc. that you couldn't get in a cup.
Well its all got a bit confusing but i bought the car. Had confirmation from Renault that it is a cup so that will do me.
Congratulations kriss looks well with an high spec it sure is confusing what is a true cup vs a non cup model. Renault sure knows how to confuse it buyers
Yes i just googled Renault UK. Really helpfull! Gave him the reg and hes emailed me the full spec for confirmation.
