Hello, is there buyers guide on here, now these cars are ticking over 6 years, I am interested in faults, and common problems, and how to identify them ect Thanks
Assume your on about the MK3? There isn't a buyers guide as such, However there are loads of threads asking similar questions on here
not a great deal goes wrong with the mk3..or even the mk2 to be fair. Reports of front suspension work on the mk3 seem to be about the only common problem. Engines/gearbox/electrics etc are all tried and tested over many years of development,so you should be fine here. Making sure the older mk3`s have had a cambelt will be your first question..considerable expense.
You say that, I've had a replacement engine and gearbox in mine, amongst a load of other stuff [emoji23]
Hi, yeah meant the mk 3 I have been reading through the forums bit by bit, spotting some things come up more than others. Actively looking for a Nice 250 cup now, in an ideal world ill wait till Aug, but would not hurt if i had to get a small loan, and then pay it off in Aug
