Finally got chance to get under the car this afternoon. 20 minutes later and silencer box is off and straight pipe is on. (Pipe cutters make the job so much easier) Hasn't made a huge difference to sound/volume, but pops a lot more in Sport mode. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I still swear by a mid box chop being one of the best cheap mods. I've moved to a 3" ktec system now to try and hit 300hp but it doesn't sound as good as the mid box chop!

Just has one silencer at the rear. I sounds decent but the mid box chop on my car was nice and quiet at normal speeds but had a really brutal sound to it on boost. The Ktec system is a bit more droney over the whole rev range but won't restrict power like the standard system.
Yes still has stock cat. I'll be fitting decat soon. Was going to jump in the CGR group buy but tyres had to come first! Looking forward to hearing and feeling the difference, plus a trip to RS Tuning for a remap. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
